Gluten Free cut sugar cookies, with the Gluten Free Flour I use to make them.
You Can Make Gluten Free Cut Sugar Cookies
My kids have been Gluten and mostly dairy free for 5 plus years now. This cookie was the hardest to replicate, because by nature it has no strong flavor to mask the baking powder/rising agent flavor. But I finally got there using our traditional no chilling required sugar cookie recipe as the base.
I currently am using straight Bob’s 1:1 Gf blend. I am going to experiment this year with a half GF oat flour and half Bob’s. I will keep you guys updated on how it goes, over on my Instagram account, here.
Now let’s get into it.
Gluten Free Cut Sugar Cookies, NO Chilling required
Gluten Free, contains real butter
Ingredients
4 eggs, room temp
2 Cups Sugar'
1 Cup Butter softened
1 tsp vanilla
7 Cups Gluten Free Flour blend
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp baking powder
Directions
Beat sugar and room temperature eggs until light and fluffy.
Add softened butter and mix well.
Add Vanilla, half the 1:1 GF flour blend and the baking powder and baking soda.
Work in the rest of the GF flour blend by hand, it will be far too stiff for a mixer to handle
Lightly flour your work surface and roll out and cut shapes.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes until just barely brown on the bottom.
Make frosting and once the cookies are cool, frost and enjoy your Gluten Free Sugar Cookies!
Merry Christmas!
