2 Ingredient Biscuits - with personality

Miniature 2 Ingredient biscuits on a charcuterie board

The Two Ingredient Biscuit

I found the 2 ingredient biscuit recipe a few years ago from Amy, over at the Fetching Farmhouse on Instagram. She gave me her blessing to share it with my followers and on my blog. So I have been sharing it far and wide because these biscuits are a game changer.

Literally

2 Cups self rising flour

1 and ¼ Cup heavy cream

That’s it. Bake at 450 for about 15 minutes depending on the size of the biscuit.

Biscuits With A Twist

We had a charcuterie board challenge at church recently and I needed a super easy board to put together. So, as I do often I turned to the biscuit recipe, but decided to add some additional flavors. I did a garlic sharp cheddar biscuit, a cinnamon brown sugar biscuit, and the traditional biscuit.

Winging It

I did zero research. I literally just threw in a couple handfuls of sharp cheddar cheese, and the rest of the jar of garlic from the fridge. And they were magical. So, measure with your heart on this one. For the cinnamon brown sugar I did 2 TBS of brown sugar and 2 TBS of cinnamon, and they were actually the ones I got the most compliments on.

Charcuterie Assembly

I assembled the board using a large cutting board and a wooden 3 legged decorative stand. Several kinds of butter, several jams, some berries, and a bottle of honey. I threw on some bacon and cheddar cheese in case anyone wanted to make a bacon cheese biscuit. I made labels using toothpicks and masking tape and a sharpie. Super basic, I was not trying to win the challenge, and I didn’t win. But I also didn’t bring home a single biscuit. So, there’s that. I fed people yummy food and that was my whole goal.

So…

Make some yummy bicuits to feed your humans. Add in fun ingredients and make it your own!

Happy Bicuit Baking!
